Here's what's happening on the Chicago area dining scene:
Desserts for Disaster Week
Indulge in dessert this week and help with tsunami relief. More than 80 restaurants in the Chicago area will donate the profits from dessert sales from Monday through Saturday.
Funds will be contributed to the American Red Cross to provide health and medical relief to those in need.
Participating suburban restaurants include Connie's Pizza in Naperville; Don Roth's Blackhawk in Wheeling; Hackney's in Lake Zurich; Kappy's Restaurant in Arlington Heights; Lou Malnati's Pizzeria in Buffalo Grove, ...
