MCKENZIE PASS - Our weird, weird winter weather that has given us a seemingly endless stretch of sun-filled days, Arizonalike pink skies at dusk and moonlit nights recently, is really weird up here.

At least Brad Henry and Allen DuBell of the state Department of Transportation's McKenzie Bridge station hope the snow, or lack of it, is not a joke. Because it would be a cruel one, they say.
