SAN JOSE, Calif. -- eBay (Nasdaq:EBAY), The World's Online Marketplace, is expanding its charity platform to further support the generosity of the eBay community. Since 2000, more than $40 million has been raised for nonprofit organizations through listings on the eBay Marketplace. Now, eBay will donate all fees when a seller donates 100% of an item's final sale price to a certified nonprofit. eBay is also making the process of listing items for charity easier than ever before.
Through the eBay Giving Works platform, launched in November 2003, eBay members are able to list items on the site and donate 10-100% of the final sale price to a certified nonprofit ...
