The demand for copies of popular TV shows such as "24" and "Star Trek" are on the rise, according to Webzine Silicon.com. It points out that whole shows are available--without commercials--within minutes of their showing--much to the delight of TV fans, who probably don't have a TiVo, and much to the chagrin of the studios, actors and others involved in producing the show.

It is impossible to create demand for a product, as the studios do, and then deny the product to the market because consumers aren't able to watch at the intended hour.
