Ed McGowin has created an original sculpture named "OPUS" to grace the exterior of a new luxury condominium project developed by The Clarett Group on Manhattan's historic Upper West Side. The dramatic frieze was recently unveiled in a private ceremony.
For more than four decades, McGowin has integrated different materials and techniques to explore contemporary issues while always maintaining the artistic sensibility shaped by his Southern roots.
