GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- Saxon Capital, Inc. ("Saxon" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SAXN), a residential mortgage lending and servicing real estate investment trust (REIT), today announced that it expects to transfer its common stock from the NASDAQ National Market to the New York Stock Exchange.

The Company's stock is expected to begin trading under the symbol "SAX" on Friday, March 18, 2005. To commemorate the listing, Saxon management expects to ring the bell to open the Exchange at 9:30 AM EST that morning.
