New Limited Edition Models Pay Tribute To The Inventive Genius Of Les Paul

On a stormy evening in December 1951, Ted McCarty, who was president of Gibson Guitar at the time, drove up to a decrepit old resort in the Pocono Mountains to meet with Les Paul, who was in the process of recording "Tiger Rag." The purpose of the meeting was to finalize a deal where Gibson would build the Les Paul Electric guitar.
