This is fine work. I offer three reasons. First, it is not "thin." By which I mean that this research is not in the least guilty of something that, regrettably, appears wide-spread these days: a smidgeon of original thinking/fieldwork then being inflated, via copious references, into a publication at least twice as long and wordy as the material actually merits.
