If you've had enough snow, sleet and slush but can't jet off to the Florida Keys or Hawaiian Islands for a winter break, you might want to head over to the Arcada Theatre Sunday for a concert by the steel drum band OD TAPO IMI.
"It's an instant vacation," said band leader and founder Gerard Brill of St. Charles.
Anyone listening to the happy beat of the OD TAPO IMI's music will find it tough to remain grumpy for long. The band's repertoire features steel drum arrangements on a wide variety of music ranging from "Come Dancing" by the Kinks and Sheryl Crow's "Soak Up the Sun" to the bossa nova ...
