Mar. 6--CHEYENNE -- If you weren't paying close attention, you might have thought the 90 state lawmakers who ended a nearly two-month marathon at the Capitol on Thursday were in town to talk about the state budget.
Well, in a way they were.
The 58th Wyoming Legislature didn't come to talk about the state's two-year spending plan; instead they were supposed to talk about the supplemental budget, which generally is the time when agency budgets get a tune-up and emergencies are addressed.
But with nearly $1 billion in play this session alone, who can tell the difference anymore?
