The Shipyard Brewing Company has announced a new annual tradition, the production of a Brewer's Choice Special Ale. Each year, Brewer's Choice will feature a new, limited edition beer recipe created by Shipyard's brew house. In 2005, the Brewer's Choice will be a brown ale, available in February and March "Brewer's Choice honors the true spirit of brewing excellence and carries on the age-old tradition of great beer making," noted Shipyard master brewer Alan Pugsley. "It gives our brewers the opportunity to develop creative new recipes to bring to the marketplace."
