Mar. 8--ING Life (Thailand), a member of Dutch-based ING Group, expects to achieve profitability within the next two years based on the company's robust performance over the past six years.

"If the largest life insurer took over 40 years to become profitably established here, it would be excellent if ING Life could do the same in just 8-9 years," said Somphot Keitkraivalsiri, senior vice-president and chief agency officer of the company. As of the end of this year, ING Life reported negative earnings of 173 million baht.
