Perhaps one of the best teaching tips for HPERD professionals is to attend the annual AAHPERD National Convention and Exposition. It remains one of the most valuable cross-disciplinary forums for the exchange of professional information and ideas and provides opportunities for professional collaboration and networking. Some universities and colleges, through their faculty, administrators, and students, are well known for attendance and participation at the national convention. Others, however, could make greater use of this unique resource. Students in particular underutilize the professional development opportunities offered by the national convention.
