NEW YORK -- Titan Industries has added another big name to its licensing roster.

The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based company said last week it inked an eight-year footwear licensing agreement with designer Betsey Johnson, beginning in fall '05.

"Betsey Johnson has such a following, and we want to capture her audience with these shoes," Titan CEO Joe Ouaknine told Footwear News during an interview with Johnson at her offices here last week. "There is always a `wow' with Betsey Johnson and we like that."

The line, which will include a mix of dressy and casual looks, is set to bow for the fall/holiday '05 season. ...
