Financial planners are mistaken if they think that practice systemisation (PS) is a panacea for all their problems. PS's primary objective should be to improve the quality of advice to clients. Customer relationship and workflow systems should form the basis of a PS program. However, many financial practices do not pay enough attention to what they buy from software providers. Consequently, they often own a number of CRMs that duplicate entry and data.
