Pacific National, the rail operator jointly owned by Toll Holdings and Patrick Corporation, has released its results for the six months to December 2004. Pacific National recorded an after tax profit of $A55.9 million. The result took into account revenue of $A70 million from Freight Australia, which Pacific National had acquired in September 2004. Pacific National advised its shareholders that the integration of Freight Australia was going well, but that poor weather was impacting on grain volumes.
