A WORLD billiards contest was cut short yesterday after a mix-up saw the North Wales venue double-booked with a rave.
The final of the 2005 World Professional Billiards Championships was due to be staged tonight at Pontins' Prestatyn Sands Holiday Centre.
But the event clashes with a rave expected to attract up to 10,000 dance music-lovers.
