Background Until she was nine, Chloe lived in Australia, where her father was a lawyer and her mother was an advertising copywriter (her great-uncle was Lord Chancellor Gerald Gardiner). She studied psychology at Royal Holloway College before training as a casting director's assistant nine years ago. She was sent to Ireland by John Boorman to scout for actors for The General, worked with Tim Roth on The War Zone('surprisingly, he wasn't difficult') and spent months in Newcastle meeting child actors for Billy Elliot.
