A MEMO warned of chaos in Camden's social services department a year before the murder of a six-year-old girl on their "at risk" register.

The death of Ukleigha Batten-Froggatt has prompted a review by the council and the police.

Ukleigha was strangled and her mother Nicole Batten stabbed at their flat in Somers Town.

Miss Batten's partner Mark Nicholas was arrested by police after a London-wide manhunt.

The girl had been under the watch of social workers amid concern she was being neglected because of her mother's drinking.
