The Institutional Money Market Funds Association (IMMFA) announced this week that, at the close of 2004, its membership accounted for $232bn (GBP120.5bn) of money fund assets under management.
The organisation has cemented its place in the liquidity industry and, on the back of announcing a new chairman at the end of last year, IMMFA is ready to tackle the challenges facing money market providers in 2005.
Lehman Brothers Asset Management is the latest fund manager to join IMMFA's roll call, and asset managers now account for 25 out of the 32 members dominating the fund membership.
