Some unnamed finance ministers from the Group of Eight (G-8) most industrialized states reportedly have objections to Moscow's desire to become a full member in the grouping and to chair the group's economic and political policy meetings next year in Moscow, Bloomberg.com reported on 10 March. Russia's $533 billion economy is the 16th largest in the world and is not big enough to justify membership in the club, an unnamed G-8 official told Bloomberg agency.
