A battle is raging in Queensland over access to the state's rail network. The battle is taking place between freight group, Pacific National, and the state-owned Queensland Rail (QR). On 14 March 2005, a court case involving the two groups will resume in the Federal Court of Australia. Pacific National is suing QR over the cancellation of its monthly lease at the Acacia Ridge freight terminal. QR is now trying to move into the southern states, a territory partly dominated by Pacific National. Lily Harrison, of QR, gave the QR version of events.
