The A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum, in Houghton, Michigan, recently completed its Michigan Hall of Minerals. More than eighty display cases (comprising nearly half the museum's exhibit space) are devoted to presenting the museum's finest specimens from Michigan and the Lake Superior region. The new exhibits are divided into three major sections, arranged according to mineralogical provinces: the Keweenaw native copper deposits, the Michigan iron ranges, and the Michigan Basin.
