So writes Sheila Moss of the Sisters of Saint Anne. The nuns purchased a piece of property in the wilds of East Sooke, just west of Victoria on Vancouver Island a place which would, in the contemporary words of the Earth Charter provide "a natural and social environment supportive of human dignity, bodily health and spiritual well-being."
