Nicole Post, director of the New Moon Spa in Eureka Springs, said her business plans to open a new division in August with the launch of the New Moon Health Spa. The new venture will be located nearby at 33 Prospect Ave., the former 4,500-SF home of the Victorian Sampler Restaurant.
Martin Roenigk owns New Moon Spa, which occupies 7,000 SF in Eureka Springs' historic Crescent Hotel.
Post said Roenigk was the "visionary" for the foray into health-based spa services, a trendy approach on the coasts that hasn't caught on much in the Midwest.
