THERE was a surprise in store for rock fans at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
One moment Ronnie Wood is up there, doing that thing with his axe that he's been doing since his days with the Faces, and later with The Rolling Stones.
The next minute old Jumping Jack Flash himself, Sir Mick Jagger, leaps up on stage to join his fellow rocker for an encore. With Rolling Stones concerts now restricted to super-sized stadiums, this was like the old days: Mick, Ronnie and some of their mates jamming in the intimate setting of a London theatre last night.
