Mar. 13--New Braunfels leaders announced Saturday a furniture company will establish its regional headquarters and a distribution center in their city and provide 320 jobs.

Hill Country Furniture Partners, which is licensed to own and operate Ashley Furniture Homestores within the Austin-San Antonio market, is expected to start operating in New Braunfels by the end of the year.

The company has stores in Pflugerville and Live Oak and expects to add four more in the region.

New Braunfels Mayor Adam Cork said the company is considering moving into and expanding an existing building he would not identify.
