Emerald City Theatre Company's world premiere production "Where the Wild Things Are and Other Bedtime Adventures," based on the stories of author Maurice Sendak, lands Saturday at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights for a limited run.
Emerald City's wildly acclaimed musical adaptation, which is touring in the Chicago area, Wisconsin and Indiana, uses song, dance and spectacular puppetry to breathe new life into three of Sendak's children's books -"Where the Wild Things Are," "Hector Protector" and "Very Far Away." It will be at Metropolis through Feb. 20.
