It's never too late to translate the great plate update.
So why wait?
The plate I'm talking about is the one heaped with the new dietary guidelines served up to an unsuspecting public in January. The sheer volume of recommendations made it seem as if the government were trying to compensate in one fell swoop for years of vague advice such as "Eat your vegetables" and "Drink your milk" and "No dessert for you, Chubbs."
Slogging through the new guidelines was so exhausting that I had to lie on the couch the rest of the day and have Twinkies pumped directly into my bloodstream to regain my ...
