An important aspect of the job search process is conveying what your characteristics are to the employer and their hiring managers.
This must be done through the use of a resume, cover letter and in any subsequent interviews. Not everyone has all the same characteristics, and that is the reason an employer goes through the search procedure. But there are some characteristics so essential that not possessing them will reduce your employment opportunities substantially and even cause the loss of a job.
