CHRISTIAN SEARGEANT'S late strike booked Everton's place in the final of the NatWest Liverpool Senior Cup final after a 3-2 victory over Warrington at Cantilever Park.
The midfielder, who was playing only his second match after returning from injury, struck from close range with just 10 minutes remaining.
With no FA Premier Academy League match at the weekend, the side last night was made up of all under-18s players. And the match was played in awful conditions with a rainsoaked pitch.
