Internet advertising predicted to rise by a third to CZK 410 mln in 2005

Prague. March 15 INTERFAX EUROPE - Internet advertising expenditures will rise by 32 % yr/yr to an estimated CZK 410 mln this year, according to the ARBO media company.

Internet advertising is experiencing the biggest growth of all mediums. Compared with TV, press, radio, and outdoor advertising, internet advertising costs are the lowest but internet's market share is growing. While firms spent just 0.1 % of total advertising expenditure on the internet in 1997, the figure had risen to 0.8 % in 2000 and this year should be 2.3 %.
