Makers of frozen pasta products are breathing a collective sigh of relief now that the low-carb craze has settled down. In its wake, they are looking at this declining category with renewed optimism.
"My understanding is that the business is flat to down," says Gary Lauerman, director of sales and marketing for Ateeco, Inc. in Shenandoah, Pa., which markets Mrs. T's Pierogies.
