We, at InterContinental Hotels Group, would like to express our sympathies to families affected by the tsunamis in Southern Asia on December 26, 2004. We are saddened by the extent of the devastation and wish to assure all concerned that all efforts will be focused on the safety and well being of our guests and staff.
To help us achieve that, we have mobilized additional resources in nearby cities to support the teams in Thailand and Malaysia and have been sending regular food supplies and other essentials to supplement the hotels' stock, thus ensuring that our guests are well taken care of.
