The Coatings Research Institute (CRI) at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), Ypsilanti, MI, has scheduled Smart Coatings 2005, a three-day conference to be held February 16-18, 2005 at the Grosvenor Resort at Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, FL. The conference will focus on the advances in antimicrobial and hygienic coatings, organic nanotechnology-based coatings, stimulus and response coatings, and self-assembled intelligent layers.
Organized into five sessions, the preliminary schedule is as follows:
