John M. Miller, owner of J-N-J Miller Design Services, in Cedar, Michigan, holds 44 patents on various aspects of automotive power and propulsion systems. He chairs the KiloFarad International Education and Outreach working group devoted to promoting ultracapacitor technology. He retired from Ford Motor Company's Scientific Research Laboratories in 2002.
