Apple & Eve, LLC purchased Northland Cranberries, Inc's Juice Division for approximately $10.8 million. The companies have also entered into a supply agreement under which Apple & Eve will purchase approximately $6.7 million of cranberry concentrate, with a nine-year option to purchase additional cranberry concentrate. The purchase includes the Northland, TreeSweet, and Awake brands, as well as the assignment of the Seneca brand license, for more on this transaction see page 4.
APPLE CONCENTRATE--Processing apple holdings as of Feb. 1 totaled 1.54 billion pounds, 28% higher than on Feb.1, 2004 and 13% above the five-year average.
