Reto Wittwer, president and CE0 of Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, Geneva, hosted an annual meeting for all the company's hotel owners in Abu Dhabi on February 2 at the new and ultra-luxurious Emirates Palace Hotel. By 2007, Wittwer will have upped the number of Kempinski properties in the Middle East from the current tally of four to six, thanks to two icon properties scheduled for Dubai. Kempinski will open 15 hotels this year, including three in China, which will drive expansion throughout the rest of Asia.
