WASHINGTON - The predictability of the tax code is one of the most important principles the government needs to focus on, Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan told a panel looking at tax reform.
He told the President's Advisory Panel on Tax Reform at a recent hearing here that the panel should focus on "creating a tax system in which households and businesses can look into the future and have some reasonable degree of certainty about the future tax implications of decisions made today.''
