SEOUL, March 18 (Yonhap) -- An additional guard ship will be deployed off South Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo as Japan boosts its claim to the volcanic outcroppings, maritime police said Friday.
Three maritime police vessels are currently in rotation on eight-hour shifts, patrolling Dokdo along with a 41-member police detachment on the islets.
