The future growth and development of the New York metropolitan area is unnecessarily clouded, says an environmental advocate whose approach to regional planning has been getting a lot of attention lately - thanks to the current Cooper-Hewitt Museum exhibition on "The Power of Maps."
According to Bice Wilson, an architect and planner., "We have already developed much of the region beyond sustainability and are on the brink of continuing to do so in the ex-urbs."
