Mar. 16--Dr. David Mackey has repeatedly violated the terms of his felony sentence of house arrest, resulting Tuesday in something his legal team worked hard to avoid: time behind bars.
Less than 45 days after Mackey received his sentence of house arrest and probation -- and avoided prison in his murder-for-hire case -- the well-known Winter Park surgeon was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail on Tuesday morning.
