They dress like the Beatles.
They rock like the Beatles.
And in true Beatles fashion, they break up really badly.
Such is life for the faux Fab Four known by thousands nationwide as American English.
The Chicago area's most popular tribute band, mirroring the men they emulate, suffered a bitter split late last year over creative differences.
(And to throw in the obligatory butchering of song lyrics, let's just say it made for some hard days' nights.)
