April 26 is the ABA Education Foundation's National Teach Children to Save Day. Since the first Teach Children to Save Day in 1997, more than 18,300 bankers have reached nearly 1.2 million students across the country, providing them with money skills they'll use throughout life.
Without financial education, young people will learn about money from the school of hard knocks. That's why ABA's Education Foundation created the Teach Children to Save program and why bankers across the country speak to students and community groups year-round about the financial facts of life.
