A profound change is taking place in Morocco. The streets of its ancient cities are now increasingly echoing to the sounds of Italian, French and English being spoken, and even guttural US slang is becoming commonplace. With these changes the old social taboos that have withstood the test of time are falling away--and that is a trend which Moroccan traditionalists are not too happy about.
