CHICAGO, March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Interest in early-stage companies in Michigan and throughout the Midwest is heating up as companies submit applications to present to hundreds of venture capital, private equity, and angel investors at Midwest Venture Summit 2005. To facilitate evaluating the applications for the event, scheduled for May 20 in Chicago, the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA) has extended the deadline to Monday, April 11.
