GARDEN GROVE, Calif. _ Paul Gillette didn't see who threw the orange.

But he did see the Vietnamese kids the orange was thrown at. And he saw the white kids who took credit for throwing it.

He saw the Vietnamese kids challenge the white kids; saw the white kids accept the challenge; saw the large, escalating brawl that followed.

Gillette even saw the blood that spilled when one of the Vietnamese kids pulled a knife and slightly injured one of the white kids.
