The European heatset web offset industry is poised today for the kind of explosive growth by the year 2000 that characterized the U.S. web industry over the past 10 years.
In alignment at the moment is a unique set of circumstances: a unifying identity among the nations, expanding markets and emerging opportunities, changing print buyer demands and consumer expectations, and developing production capabilities among printers. The effect of all these factors may well inaugurate a new era in the European theater.
