Mar. 19--A Roanoke real estate firm is feeling the impact of its November merger with Fairfax-based giant Long & Foster Real Estate.
Eleven real estate agents from Boone & Co. Long & Foster's Daleville office left the agency last month and joined Remax All Stars, a real estate company located across the road in Daleville. The Boone office now has 36 agents.
Vic Coffey, former general manager at Boone & Co. Long & Foster's office in Daleville, said agents were more comfortable working for a locally owned company. Micki Patrick was the sole owner of the Remax franchise, and several former Boone & Co. Long & Foster agents ...
