Heart Research UK - the newly named National Heart Research Fund - is overhauling its database to drive donor communications.

The organisation, initially set up to fund heart transplants, is unveiling its updated brand alongside a more sophisticated data operation. Both projects are being handled by marketing specialist Rocket Science.

The consultancy carried out a data audit to identify available information and understand database requirements. A bespoke database has been created to fuel direct communications and enable the charity to carry out indepth customer analysis and segmentation.
